by Chris & David Bowers on Costa Rica & Panama Cruise from Seafarer
Brilliant Holiday!

We embarked on our second cruise with Variety Cruises (arranged by Suzie at Seafarer)in December 2013, this time the Treasures of Costa Rica and the Panama Canal. It was an excellent trip.
The Variety Voyager is a beautiful yacht, almost new and with all the most modern facilities. The cabin we had was ample in size, with sufficient storage space, and there was plenty of room in the en-suite bathroom. We liked the open air bar with shaded seats on the upper deck, ideal for chatting, reading and evening drinks; and the sun deck was the best place to be while passing through the Panama Canal. The food in the Dining Room was top-notch, and service throughout the ship could not be faulted.
Every day there was an opportunity to participate in a trip or to swim from the back of the ship or from a sandy beach. The trips ranged from exploring local villages, to hiking or zip-wiring in the National Parks, with many of the guests taking part enthusiastically.
Passing through the Panama Canal on New Year’s Eve, with a sumptuous dinner and party on board, followed by a firework display over Panama City at midnight, is a memory we shall treasure forever. We look forward to our next trip with Variety!
