The sun shines 350 days a year and temperatures range between 21°C and 29°C. The breeze blows constantly from the ocean at a relatively low average humidity of 40% to 60%.
Embarkation at 4 pm. Praia is the capital of Santiago, the largest and most populated island in the Cape Verde Archipelago. Overnight in port.
After a Morning at leisure, there will be an optional afternoon excursion to Cidade Velha, the Old Portuguese Capital and the Museum of Maritime History. Late in the evening, we sail north to Fogo. Overnight at sea.
Sao Filipe (Fogo)
Early morning arrival in Fogo, the island of fire due to the dominating sight of the Fogo Volcano which rises 3000 meters above sea level. Optional full day excursion to the top of the volcano. Late in the evening we will sail to Sao Nicolau. Overnight at sea.
Tarrafal (Sao Nicolau)
Morning arrival in San Nicolau, a peaceful island with many coffee plantations. An optional full day tour to the Monte Gordo volcano. the nearby forest and Faja Valley. Late in the evening we sail to Santo Antao. Overnight at sea.
Porto Novo (Santo Antao) – Mindelo (Sao Vicente)
Morning arrival in San Antao, the greenest of all the Cape Verde Islands. Optional full day excursion to Valley Paul and the Valley of Ribiera das Patas. In the evening we sail to Mindelo on the island of Sao Vicente, which is just one hour away. In Mindelo we will have the chance to enjoy the nightlife. Overnight in port.
Mindelo (Sao Vicente)
Mindelo is one of the most well preserved colonial cities in Cape Verde. The optional walking excursion will allow you to visit galleries and discover restaurants and musical events that give Mindelo its reputation as being the cultural center of Cape Verde. Overnight spent at sea on the way to Maio.
We will arrive into Maio at noon. Maio is a peaceful and relaxed community. The walking tour to the city of Vila do Maio will include a visit to the Baroque church built by the Portuguese some centuries earlier. Overnight in port.
Maio – Praia (Santiago)
Morning sailing to Santiago. Disembarkation at 9.00 am.
Discover a 3 masted Motorsailer which can accommodate up to 49 passengers in 24 cabins. The “Panorama” was launched in 1993 and has been rebuilt in 2001, followed by a latest renovation in 2014, when the Upper Deck cabins and Lounge, as well as the Main Deck cabin en suite bathrooms and Lounge have been refitted.

Lower Deck – 1 Double or 2 Twin Beds
The Category C cabins are located on the Lower Deck and have portholes. The cabins are air-conditioned and fitted with TV, telephone, hairdryers, mini-fridge, central music, and public address system and safe boxes. The fully equipped bathrooms are finished with marble.

The Category B cabins are located on the Lower Deck and have portholes. The cabins are air-conditioned and fitted with TV, telephone, hairdryers, mini-fridge, central music, and public address system and safe boxes. The fully equipped bathrooms are finished with marble or corian.
