The Weather

Reliable sunshine is virtually guaranteed during the season between early May and late October, with temperatures ranging from the low 70’s in early and late season up to the high 80’s or even low 90’s from late June until August. Winds are predictable with moderate winds (Force 3-4) from the NW.

Friday: Marina Zeas (Piraeus)

Embarkation 14:00-15:00, welcome drink. After you board, you’ll enjoy a Welcome Aboard cocktail. Your ship sets sail
for Ios. Welcome dinner. Overnight at sea to Ios / Santorini.

Jewels of the Cyclades

Saturday: Ios/ swimstop – Santorini

In the morning, we stop for a refreshing swim at Manganari Beach/ Ios, one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. Later at noon, we reach Santorini, formed by the half-submerged crescent of a volcanic caldera. You will go ashore and take a cable car to the town of Fira, a stunning cluster of white buildings atop a cliff. Afternoon optional   tour  to Akrotiri, a city buried in the eruption that created the caldera in 1600 B.C and to Fira. The tour will end in Oia, famous for its sun set. Overnight at sea to Patmos


Sunday: Patmos

Morning arrival in Patmos. Your optional Patmos excursion includes two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Grotto and Monastery of St. John and the historic centre of the medieval town of Chora.  Afternoon at leisure to discover Scala, the capital or swim at a nearby beach. Overnight in Patmos.


Monday: Patmos – Kusadasi (for Ephesus) – Samos

Early morning sailing to Kusadasi – Turkey. Early in the morning, we sail to Kusadasi – Turkey . Today our explorations of ancient civilizations continue with an optional tour to Ephesus, the greatest archaeological site in the Aegean region. As you tour this remarkably preserved Greek and Roman city, you may feel as if you’re about to encounter a toga-garbed resident, or hear a chariot clattering down the main avenue, the same avenue down which Cleopatra and Mark Anthony rode in procession more than 2,000 years ago! After lunch and some free time at leisure, we sail to the Island of Samos. Late afternoon, we reach Samos and the quaint port of Pythagorion. You can enjoy a late afternoon swim, walk the narrow alleys of the city or relax at the many seaside cafes. Late in the evening we sail to Delos Mykonos. Overnight at sea.

Greek Islands of Mykonos

Tuesday: Delos – Mykonos

The ship sails into white and blue Cyclades. Enjoy an optional visit to tiny Delos, the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. On an optional guided walking tour, you’ll visit the archaeological ruins of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, unearthed here in the 19th century. Delos is a true open-air museum with many ancient monuments and buildings that are remarkably intact. After our 2 hour walking tour, we will sail to into a beautiful bay for a refreshing swim stop and lunch, weather permitting. Later in the afternoon we sail into Mykonos Harbour. We reach ail into Mykonos to allow you to discover its brilliant white houses and stroll in the narrow streets. While exploring the town you can visit the archaeological museum or the maritime museum, and don’t forget to visit a bakery that has been turning out bread in wood-fired ovens since the 15th century. We suggest ending your evening as the Mykonians do and enjoy a glass of ouzo and traditional “mezedes “appetizers or enjoy Mykonos world famous night life. Overnight in Mykonos.

A Guide of Mykonos Island

Wednesday: Mykonos – Tinos

At day break we leave Mykonos  for the island of Tinos. First stop is the  beach of Ysternia for a swim and a barbeque. After lunch we sail into Tinos harbour – Afternoon optional excursion to Tinos Villages. We will visit the picturesque villages of Exovergo, Volax. We will visit the famous basket weavers of Tinos and the workshops of the marble sculptors of Pyrgos. The famous monastery of the Holy Virgin is  a site of pilgrimage and well worth a visit. Overnight in Tinos.

Idyllic Aegean Mykonos-Chora

Thursday: Tinos – Kythnos – Cape Sounion

In the morning we leave Tinos and sail to Kythnos for a swim stop and beach BBQ. We reach Kolones Beach in Kythnos for our last swimstop. After lunch we sail to Cape Sounion. We reach Cape Sounion at 17:30 for a farewell cocktails & dinner under the Temple of Poseidon. In the evening, we will leave Sounio to reach Marina Zea. Overnight Marina Zea.

Athens Antiquity to Byzantium

Friday: Marina Zeas (Piraeus)

Breakfast and time to leave the ship – Disembarkation between 9 and 10 am.

Cruise routes may need to be varied in the event of adverse weather and operating conditions at the captains discretion, in the interests of the comfort and safety of guests. The Captain and Cruise Director will will keep you fully briefed on the daily programme.

Discover a 3 masted Motorsailer which can accommodate up to 49 passengers in 24 cabins. The “Panorama” was launched in 1993 and has been rebuilt in 2001, followed by a latest renovation in 2014, when the Upper Deck cabins and Lounge, as well as the Main Deck cabin en suite bathrooms and Lounge have been refitted.

This state of the art Motorsailer has performed several Atlantic Ocean crossings and has sailed from the Seychelles to Monte Carlo and from the Black Sea to Tunis and offers the highest standard of accommodation and comfort safety.

The Category A cabins are located on the Upper Deck or on the Main Deck and have large windows enabling a breathtaking view or the areas you are cruising in. The cabins are air-conditioned and fitted with TV, telephone, hairdryers, mini-fridge, central music, and public address system and safe boxes. The fully equiped bathrooms are finished with marble or corian.

Optional: Cruise & Stay

Athens is a glorious place to spend a couple of night and days exploring. Herodion hotel is ideally placed for exploring this vibrant city. The beaches here are often overlooked but very nice indeed – a few nights or even a week at the Aegeon Beach Resort with its imposing views of Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon makes for a real pre- or post-cruise treat. We can easily add either.

Optional excursions include a half day city tour and an afternoon coastal trip to the temple of Poseidon at cape Sounio
