Adriatic Odyssey

Croatia, Montenegro & Βeyond

The Adriatic Odyssey 2016

There is no hotter destination for Summer 2016 than the stunning coastline that runs south from Croatia into the Ionian Sea. But it isn’t just the natural beauty you should come for – the culture in this area is incredible and, since the area only really opened up for travel in the last 10 years, you get the chance to see some spectacular but relatively unknown World Heritage Sites.

In total this is a cruise of four countries – you start in one of the most fabulous cities in the Med, Dubrovnik, in Croatia, cruise down to Montenegro stopping at the old Venetian town of Budva, then tantalisingly bypass Albania (you’ll stop here on the way back) and continue to the Geek Islands of Paxos and Corfu.

A lot of people are nervous of Albania – don’t be. This is a chance to see one of the least known UNESCO World Heritage Sites at Butrint, a combination of Greek and Roman ruins. Do make sure you take your camera as people back home won’t believe a pace like Albania has such incredible wonders.

Last, but by no means least, you get to see all this on the equally wonderful sail-assisted yacht Panorama.

Life on board Mega Yacht Cruise

Life on board this 25 cabin mega-yacht centres around the indoor/outdoor Lounge and its American Bar on the upper deck. The attractive dining room located on the main deck is surrounded by large windows and accommodates all guests in a single sitting. Cuisine on board is of a high standard, always with a local flavour. With just 22 guest cabins, service on board is attentive yet unobtrusive and you can be sure of the informal and friendly atmosphere for which Variety Cruises vessels are widely recognised.

During the day the spacious Sun Deck is the ideal place to bask in the warmth, read a good book or just gaze at the scenery. You can also use our swimming platform that offers access to the azure waters, whilst moored in serene bays. In the evening you can relax in one of the ship’s two lounges, the library, or enjoy a drink while listening to piano music. The swimming platform on PANORAMA’s stern enables you to swim in pristine secluded bays when weather and anchorage conditions permit.

If you want a different more cultured cruising experience then look no further.
