A cruise voyage unraveling the natural and ancient wonders of Dalmatia
7 Nights, 8 days, departing Sundays
There is no hotter destination for Summer 2017 than the stunning coastline that runs south from Croatia into the Ionian Sea. But it isn’t just the natural beauty you should come for – the culture in this area is incredible and, since the area only really opened up for travel in the last 10 years, you get the chance to see some spectacular but relatively unknown World Heritage Sites.
In total this is a cruise of four countries – you start in one of the most fabulous cities in the Med, Dubrovnik, in Croatia, cruise down to Montenegro stopping at the old Venetian town of Budva, then tantalisingly bypass Albania (you’ll stop here on the way back) and continue to the Greek Islands of Paxos and Corfu.
A lot of people are nervous of Albania – don’t be. This is a chance to see one of the least known UNESCO World Heritage Sites at Butrint, a combination of Greek and Roman ruins. Do make sure you take your camera as people back home won’t believe a place like Albania has such incredible wonders.
Last, but by no means least, you get to see all this on the equally wonderful sail-assisted yacht Panorama.
