| This programme is a first for Seafarer and probably the UK's Mediterranean charter industry. Operated by dedicated specialists from our charter base at Kalamaki Marina near Athens, the specially adapted 43ft yachts can accommodate up to 2 wheelchair users, plus their friends or family. Athens is an excellent base giving a choice of sailing areas with a variety of sailing conditions. For easy sailing, relatively short distances and the opportunity to join our Poros Flotilla, the Saronic Gulf and Peloponese coast is a popular choice. The Cycladic Islands are ideal for more experienced crews looking to explore further afield and more challenging sailing conditions. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The
yachts are Dufour, ATOL 43's which have been carefully modified and adapted
to allow easy access through the yacht for wheel-chairs. This includes
moving along the decks, an extra wide specially constructed gangway for
going ashore, an adapted heads compartment, grab handles and rails at
various points and other modifications. There is even a slide to provide
access to the sea for swimming, whilst a hoist handles wheel chairs and
swimmers with ease. The raised saloon deckhouse with sofas equipped with
seat belts provide comfort and protection from the sun's heat and sea
spray while sailing.
Accommodation on board is in four double cabins and the saloon. There are two heads compartments one of which is suitable for the disabled, whilst two of the four cabins have been adapted for disabled use. |

SKIPPERED

| The
yachts are normally offered with a professional skipper and an additional
crew member/hostess if required, ensuring that you can really relax and
enjoy your sailing holiday. With a crew of two, we would recommend six
guests being the ideal number for sailing in comfort. A further two berths
are available in the saloon.
Under the fully crewed option, you have the choice of sailing an independent itinerary or joining our Poros Flotilla for a one week or two week duration and the different experience of 'sailing in company'. For a suitably qualified and experienced crew, the yachts are also available on a bareboat basis sleeping a maximum of 10. |

will be happy to arrange flights for you (from £199 pp) and transfers
between the airport and our charter base. Fully Crewed Option:The price for each cruise includes: the services of a professional skipper, half board meal arrangements of breakfast, lunch, juices and snacks, all bed linen, towels, fuel, water, ice, port fees and insurance. Skippered Option: Includes the services of a professional skipper, otherwise as per bareboat. |
