FLOTILLA HOLIDAYS CROATIA 2007

Croatia's spectacular Adriatic coast of a 'thousand islands' is a yachtsman's paradise, with some of the most varied and breathtaking scenery in the whole Mediterranean. To sail in steady breezes through the myriad of tiny islets that form the beautiful Kornati National Park in a true 'island hoping' fashion is an experience not to be missed. Sample the wonderful cuisine and the friendliness of the local people while exploring the larger lush, more populated islands of Brac and Solta. Each island holds a collection of small stone churches and red tiled houses, found tucked among the numerous pine-clad hillsides. Explore fortified towns like Dubrovnik, Hvar and Korcula with their medieval castles and Byzantine palaces all of which reflect on the coasts great and colourful history.

CROATIA FLOTILLA SAILING CHOICE 2007

The key to sailing the Croatian coast is in 'the choice of cruising areas'. Croatia offers so much to see and to explore; one visit to the Dalmatian coast is never enough. You should consider the Croatian coast as three separate cruising areas, visiting each one on a separate holiday. With Seafarer bareboat charter customers can choose from three main bases: Our base at Biograd provides easy access to the northern Kornati islands, while the base at Split is ideal for sailing amongst the larger islands of central Dalmatia and the southern Kornati National Park. From the southern port and our base at Dubrovnik we offer an idyllic cruising area that takes in the holiday village of Cavtat, just south of Dubrovnik's old town and out along the Peljesac peninsular famed for its wine production and to the beautiful island of Korcula. For 2007 our flotilla combines the best of the central Dalmatian islands of Brac, Solta and Hvar with the southern Kornati island chain and a visit to the popular Krka river waterfalls.
