Seafarer is pleased to introduce Flotilla Sailing for 2007. Flotilla sailing offers the excellent combination of having the privacy and flexibility of chartering your own yacht with the comfort of having on hand when needed, the advise and assistance of our flotilla crew. For many the social element of meeting up with like minded crews from the other flotilla yachts after a good days sailing in a scenic harbourside taverna is both reassuring and fun. The flotilla broadly follows the itinerary set by our skipper with the possibility of also doing your own thing like swimming stop in a secluded bay.
You must have within your party a skipper qualified to 'day skipper' level as well as another party member with some crewing experience. If you need to obtain a qualification before you go please ask about our recommended sailing schools in the UK or the Med. You will need to allow 2 weekends or 5 days to attend an intensive training course.
Ideal
for those with limited sailing experience is our flotilla
training course for the first 3 days of your holiday.
You can benefit from private tuition from one of our
experienced sailing tutors. You will be issued with
a flotilla competence certificate at the end of the
course.

Flotilla Sailing in Turkey
The Turkish Coast 2007
With abundant sunshine and crystal clear
waters, yacht cruising in Turkey is a true delight. There
are countless unspoiled coves and forgotten harbours to
discover. This coast's rich history offers a fascinating
blend of Byzantine castles, ancient rock tombs, plus Hellenistic
and Roman ruins to explore. Each bay provides a quiet
backwater with its’ characteristic rustic local
restaurant. Experience the genuine warmth and east and
west of Marmaris. Your departure date will determine the
direction your route takes, but either way you will have
an opportunity to discover huge pinewooded gulfs with
secluded anchorages and the romantic ruins of ancient
civilizations. There are so many coves, bays and villages
to explore either as lunchtime anchorages or overnight
stays.
