BALI AND BEYOND

Day/Date: Port:
1 - Friday UK/Bali: Lunch-time departure from the UK to Bali (overnight) via Singapore.
2 - Saturday Bali: Transfer to the Sanur Beach Hotel or similar for one night.
3 - Sunday Bali: Transfer Benoa Bay for embarkation of Sea Safari III or IV, sail to Sumbawa Besar.
4 - Monday Sumbawa Besar: Sumbawa is famous for sandalwood and textiles. A land excursion includes a visit to the last Sultan's palace - a delightful wooden structure raised on stilts - as well as a local market and traditional village.
5 - Tuesday Bima: Arriving early into the traditional harbour of East Sumbawa there will be an opportunity to visit the local market and the Dutch-built palace of the former Sultan of Bima which is now a museum housing a collection of sacred treasures and antique weaponry. After lunch, a trip to the highlands is planned. Later, sail to Gili Banta island for night diving.
6 - Wednesday Komodo Island: Sea Safari anchors early in the peaceful bay of Komodo, an island that features the world's most unusual wildlife attraction. A park ranger will escort you across the island to a viewing spot from where you can safely observe the fabled Komodo Dragons. This is the only habitat on earth where the species exist. After your breathtaking encounter, the rest of the day is spent on beautiful "red beach" with its amazing marine gardens.
7 - Thursday Satonda Marina Reserve: Early arrival at Satonda Island, a beautiful marine reserve on which you will have free time for swimming and snorkelling. Later, take part in an island trek to visit the fishing village of Kampung Kenanga. In the afternoon, depart for the island of Lombok.
8 - Friday Lombok/Gili Islands: Morning arrival into Lombok including a half day tour. Later sail to the unspoilt Gili Islands. Here you can ride a "benhur", go snorkelling or diving in the coral seas, water-ski or just laze on the perfect white sand beaches.
9 - Saturday Bali: Disembark and transfer to Sanur Beach Hotel or similar, for a two night stay.
10 - Sunday Bali: Day at leisure.
11 - Monday Bali/UK: Return overnight flight from Denpasar, Bali to the UK via Singapore.
12 - Tuesday Arrive UK.
