EASTER 2010 SPECIALEspecially for Easter, we are running a special 7 night sailing from Athens to the Saronic Gulf including Aegina, Perdikha, Epidavros, Poros, Hydra and Spetses. Departing 2 April.
CYCLADES ROUTE| Sat | Lavrion (Athens) - Fly UK to Athens and transfer to the port of Lavrion for embarkation. Enjoy a welcome drink and meet your crew and fellow passengers. |
| Sun | Lavrion - Cape Sounio - Kea - We stop at Cape Sounio for a short swim stop under the Temple of Poseidon and then continue on to Kea. Overnight in Kea, a tranquil port in a large bay. Take a bus or cab trip to the pretty hill-top village. |
| Mon | Kea - Kithnos - We usually make for Loutra, a spa resort since ancient times where you can bath in the therapeutic waters which run from the hot spring down to a natural "Jacuzzi" on the beach. |
| Tue | Kithnos - Syros - Syros is the capital of the Cyclades and a lively cosmopolitan town of some size that retains much of its former splendour combined with present day charm. |
| Wed | Syros - Andros - Northernmost isle of the Cyclades and a favourite with local tourists giving a lively atmosphere. We moor at Batsi or Gavrion. The interesting capital of Andros is a bus ride away and is well worth exploring. |
| Thu | Andros - Tinos - Morning sailing to Tinos. A swim stop en route, then on to Tinos, known as the Lourdes of the Aegean or Holy island thanks to the famous Icon and monastery of the Holy Virgin. |
| Fri | Tinos - Delos - Mykonos - Early morning sailing with a swim stop at Delos. There is the possibility to visit this spectacular open air museum of an Island. We then sail for chic and lively Mykonos. |
| Sat | Mykonos – This unique island oozes chic and traditional charm in equal measure. Mykonos is one of the most popular islands in the Aegean and this island paradise has great beaches, great shopping, fabulous food and endless nightlife. For those leaving us in Mykonos, transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. |
| Sun | Mykonos - Naxos - Sailing from Mykonos stop for a swim before continuing our sailing to Naxos, the largest and most fertile island in the Cyclades. Its fascinating town is dominated by an imposing Venetian castle. |
| Mon | Naxos - Paros - Morning sailing to Paros. Arrive in the Bay of Naoussa for swimming before sailing into the delightful little town of Parikia in the afternoon. Paros is the archetypal Cycladic isle with beaches and traditional villages aplenty. |
| Tue | Paros - Antiparos - Sifnos - Morning sailing to Antiparos then on to Sifnos. You will swim in one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. Then sail for Sifnos and enjoy the nightlife of Apollonia. |
| Wed | Sifnos - Serifos - Morning sailing to Serifos. Stop at a beautiful beach for some swimming before sailing into Serifos harbour in the afternoon. Be sure to explore the hill top capital of Chora with its typical white washed sugar cube houses and wonderful views. |
| Thu | Serifos - Kithnos Or Hydra - Your skipper will plan this part of the itinerary according to the weather. On Kithnos we head for the little harbour of Merikhas with its pleasant beach tavernas, or head for historic Hydra with its picturesque amphitheatrical harbour town. |
| Fri | Lavrion - Sail for our home port for a late afternoon arrival. Time for last minute shopping and a final out with your shipmates. |
| Sat | Arrivals and departures - Those staying for 2 weeks who joined at Mykonos can take the opportunity to visit the famous temple of Poseidon at cape Sounion or head into Athens for a day of sightseeing. |
Note: This itinerary is indicative being subject to weather and operating conditions. During the Meltemi wind season during late July to mid August, we sometimes substitute an itinerary in the wonderful Saronic Isles and Peloponnese coast offering moderate conditions.
