8 NIGHT LUXURY NILE ITINERARY
MON
Uk - Luxor - Depart from London Heathrow to Luxor. On arrival private transfer to the 5 star Old Winter Palace in Luxor for a stay of 1 night on bed & breakfast basis.
TUE
Luxor - Morning at leisure before transferring to the Oberoi Zahra. After lunch you will take your first excursion to visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor museum. Dinner and overnight onboard in Luxor.
WED
Luxor - Quina - Early morning visit to explore the West Bank of ancient Thebes and the Valley of the Kings with its royal tombs. This is followed by a visit to the Temple of Madinat Habu before a final stop at the Colossi of Memnon. On arrival back at the boat, lunch will be served and the boat will set sail for Quina. In the early evening there will be a private visit to the Temple of Denderah where a Cocktail Reception will held at the Temple. Dinner and overnight onboard in Quina.
THU
Quina - Luxor - Early morning sail to Luxor. After breakfast, visit the Valley of the Noble's tombs on the West Bank plus the Temple of Hatshepsut. After lunch there will be the chance to explore the streets of Luxor and shop for souvenirs and gifts before visiting the Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight onboard in Luxor.
FRI
Luxor - Edfu - Enjoy a leisurely day onboard as the boat sails to Edfu. There's time to take a dip in the pool, read a book or simply enjoy the view. Early evening visit the Temple of Edfu, the best preserved temple of the ancient world, dedicated to Horus the Falcon God. Dinner and overnight onboard in Edfu.
SAT
Edfu - Aswan - Sail to Aswan. Lunch will be onboard. In the afternoon there is a visit to the High Dam and Philae Temple. Afterwards there will be time to enjoy the rejuvenating treatments on offer in the four onboard massage suites. Dinner and overnight onboard in Aswan.
SUN
Aswan - Kom Ombo - Aswan - Early morning sail to Kom Ombo and visit the unique temple. One side is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world. The other side is dedicated to the falcon headed god Haroeris also known as Horus, the Elder the boat shall then return to Aswan for after lunch. Take a Felucca trip on the Nile to the Botanical Garden. In the evening there will be an excursion to the Sound and Light show at the Philae temple. Overnight onboard in Aswan.
MON
Aswan - Today can be spent at leisure on board the boat or you may wish to take an optional excursion to Abu Simbel either by coach (approx £65) or by air (£130). In the evening there will be a Cocktail reception with entertainment on the Mango Island. Overnight onboard in Aswan.
TUE
Aswan - UK - Breakfast and disembark. Transfer to the airport for the return flight via Cairo to London.
