MON
Uk - Luxor - Afternoon departure from London Heathrow for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Nile River cruiser. Modern Luxor, built upon the ancient city of Thebes, is host to the largest collection of ancient buildings in the world.
TUE
Luxor - Edfu / Esna - In the morning, cross the Nile to the West Bank to see the Valley of the Kings where the tombs of at least sixty ancient Pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, are located. Today's excursion highlights include visits to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, set sail from Luxor to Esna.
WED
Edfu / Esna - Kom Ombo - After passing through Esna Lock, where your captain will show of his precision maneuvering skills, we continue the short cruise to Edfu to view the Temple of Horus. Dating from 327BC, this is the most completely preserved temple in Egypt being in near perfect condition. Later, we sail for Kom Ombo.
THU
Kom Ombo - Aswan - Set on a sweeping bend in the Nile, the Temple of Kom Ombo is dedicated jointly to Horus and the crocodile headed God, Sobek. Your guided tour this morning will bring the Temple's rich history to life. Lunch is served on board during the short trip south to Aswan. In the afternoon, visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the magnificent Temple of Philae.
FRI
Aswan - Lake Nasser - After breakfast this morning, embark on a short felucca cruise around Elephantine Island and Kitchener's Island from where you may see the splendid botanical gardens or view the Aga Khan Mausoleum which is situated on the western bank of the Nile. Later, you will be transferred to your Lake Nasser Cruise ship.
SAT
Cruising Lake Nasser - In the morning, sail to Qasr (Castle) Ibrim which still occupies its original position. Though now on an island, it was once situated on the eastern bank of the Nile. Then continue to Amadah Temple, built by Tuthmosis III and Amenhotep II before making your way to the rock cut Temple of Derr, which was at one time used as a Christian Church.
SUN
Cruising Lake Nasser - Today's highlight is a guided excursion to the famed Temple of Abu Simbel, built by the greatest of the Pharaohs, Ramses II. It features four colossal statues of the seated Pharaoh and was dedicated to the God Amum-Ra. The Temple was moved to its present located in 1963 in an engineering effort worthy of its original construction to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
MON
Abu Simbel - Cairo - After breakfast, disembark the M/S Eugenie in Abu Simbel and transfer to the airport to board your flight to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo you will be transferred back to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure to visit some of Cairo's famous sights including the Pyramids and Sphynx at Giza.

WED
Cairo - Today you have the opportunity to discover some of the excitement of Egypt's capital city or to visit some of her many interesting sights including Saladin's citadel or Cairo's Islamic quarter which boasts World Heritage listing.
THU
Cairo - UK - Transfer from your hotel to the Airport for your return flight to the UK.
