The first part of the itinerary is along the Atlantic coast of Senegal and Gambia where we enter the Gambia river and sail up to 240 miles upstream discovering the fascinating interior with its rich flora and fauna.. The optional daily excursion programme includes visits to several national parks as well as the city of Banjul, Gambia's fascinating capital. The Pegasus will be your home from home on this wonderful cruise. With 23 comfortable cabins exceptionally spacious public areas and wide decks from which to observe life on the river, she is ideally suited to this unique cruise experience. .

The twin-hulled Pegasus, built in 1990, completely refitted in 1997 and interior renovated in 2002 and 2007, accommodates up to 46 guests in a relaxed, congenial atmosphere. On board, you will enjoy magnificent sea views as you stroll 2.500 square feet of open deck furnished with comfortable deckchairs or have a delightful meal al fresco. You can relax with friends in the handsomely appointed lounge, browse in the well-stocked library or enjoy ocean-view dining in the convivial and spacious restaurant area. A platform on Pegasus’ stern enables you to swim when weather and anchorage conditions permit.
