The great thing about a cruise is that you get to see so many sights and sites at first hand. However to give you the true historic perspective we've invited along the respected classicist and expert archeologist Stephanie Kernell who will be on hand to ensure you don't miss out on the cultural aspects of your holiday.

Ancient highlights of the cruise include visits to the amphitheatre of Epidauros, The ruins of Agamemnon's Royal palace and tombs at Mycenae, Ancient Olympia, birth place of the Olympic Games and the spectacularly located Ancient Oracle and extensive ruins at Delphi.

From the Byzantine period we explore the ruined monastic town at Mystra and the walled coastal town of Monemvasia, whilst natural wonders include the Dirou caves with their unique stalactites and stalagmites and the beautiful Navarino Bay, site of the notable naval battle that changed the course of European history.

Our itinerary includes visits to pretty island harbours like Aegina and Hydra, and culminates with a transit of the spectacular Corinth Canal followed by the Captain's dinner on our final evening.

Reliable sunshine is virtually guaranteed during the season between April and late October, with temperatures ranging from the low 70's in early and late season up to the high 80's or even low 90's from late June until August. Winds are predictable with moderate winds (Force 3-4) from the NW.
