ISTRIA AND NORTHERN ISLES SAMPLE CRUISE ITINERARY
SAT
Opatija - Krk - Departure is from Opatija harbor at 13:00. After lunch we stop to swim in the crystal clear sea then continue to the island of Krk, the biggest of the islands. This Island has a number of pretty villages, gentle green promenades, bare rocky wilderness, tiny islands and hundreds of hidden bays and beaches. We overnight in town of Krk where you can explore the old town.
SUN
Krk - Rab - Breakfast is served on the ship after which we sail to the Island of Rab, known as the “Island of Love”. The small town of Rab, where we moor for the night, is encircled in medieval walls, Romanesque church towers, churches and palaces, stone streets and ancient facades. Enjoy the “galleries” on the streets and squares where many painters and artists exhibit their works.
MON
Rab - Zadar - After breakfast we cruise from Rab along the island of Pag with a swim stop on the tiny Island of Maun. In the afternoon we continue to Zadar for the night, where there is an optional guided tour of the city (in English).
For centuries the metropolis of Dalmatia, and today the centre of the region, Zadar is a city of rich monumental heritage, visible at every step even today: The Roman Forum dates from the 1st century AD and the church of St. Donatus from the 9th. The famous Medieval basilica is a symbol of the city, and the mighty city walls with representative Port and Land gates are around 500 years old. There are numerous palaces, villas and other monuments to explore.
TUE
Zadar - Molat / Olib - It’s an early departure for the islands of Molat or Olib (depending on available space in their small harbours). Molat is situated in the northern part of the Zadar archipelago. The peace, silence and simple facilities (4 restaurants, 3 shops) give a chance to get off the beaten track. Olib is a place where you can rest your body and soul. There are no cars or trucks, just a tractor or two. The Island has numerous beautiful beaches and when you come ashore you cannot but notice a beautiful sandy beach near the port. The island is steeped in history, having been settled in Roman times. The parish church dates from 1632, and there are a number of documents in the ancient Glagolitic script from the 16th - 19th century in the parsonage.

Molat / Olib - Losinj - After breakfast and a morning swim, we sail to the peaceful island of flowers called Ilovik for another swimming opportunity. We the take lunch en route as we head for pour overnight stop on the Island of Mali Lošinj. This is one of the most popular islands on the northern Adriatic due to the abundance of pine trees and clear waters, and also has amongst the highest number of sunny days per year anywhere in Europe. Take a walk along the harbor and dare to take a night swim on the sandy Cikat beach. You can also visit the nearby picturesque town of Veli Lošinj (only 5 km away).
THU
Losinj - Cres - After a morning swim we leave for the Island of Cres. This long and narrow island is covered with oak, beach and pine forests as well as vineyards and olive tree plantations. Cres and Mali Losinj used to be one island but a channel dug by the Romans separates them. We moor for the night in the medieval town of Cres itself, with chance to explore the narrow lanes and plentiful shopping opportunities.
FRI
Cres - Opatija - After breakfast we leave for our final nights stop in Opatija. En route you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of the famous Opatija Riviera. There is an optional tour of Opatija (in English). For your last night on board, you can enjoy a farewell party on the ship while exchanging addresses with other passengers who have by now become your new friends.
SAT
Opatija- Disembark after Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight, or to your hotel if extending your stay.
