CENTRAL DALMATIAN CRUISE ITINERARY
SAT
Split - Rogoznica / Primosten -We depart from Split harbour early afternoon with lunch en route, followed by a stop for an afternoon swim in a quiet bay. We spend the night in Rogoznica or Primošten (depending on local conditions) - both small villages that offer many restaurants and small cafes with the locally famous wine, Babic.
SUN
Rogoznica / Primosten - Sibenik / Skradin - After breakfast we continue on to Šibenik for morning sightseeing in this historical town. In Sibenik you can visit the castle above the town centre and view the many beautiful historical buildings, like the gothic Foscolo palace or the baroque style St. Laurent church. We then head for the Krka Waterfalls with lunch on board while enjoying the views of the Krka Canyon. The afternoon is free for you to explore the National Park and the waterfalls. Discover the beauty of Krka, and its exceptional flora and fauna. We overnight in Skradin or on the Island of Zlarin.
MON
Sibenik / Skradin - Kornati / Sali - Today we leave for the famous Kornati National Park, rich in fish, and cultural and historic remains. Illyrian ruins, Roman villas, the old Christian church of St. Mary and medieval fortresses and settlements add to the value of these islands. Kornati consists of 140 islands and reefs. Inlets of some islands descend steeply into the sea, a hundred metres deep in places, and dramatically razor sharp. It is truly something remarkable to see. We head on to Sali on the Island of Dugi Otok for the night.
TUE
Kornati / Sali - Zadar - The morning is yours for swimming or exploring. We depart for Zadar in the afternoon where we spend the night in the port. Here you have the option of joining a guided tour of the city with an English speaking guide. For centuries the metropolis of Dalmatia, and today the centre of the region, Zadar is a city of rich monumental heritage with much still visible today. The Roman Forum dates from the 1st century AD and the church of St. Donatus from the 9th.  The famous Medieval basilica is a symbol of the city, and the mighty city walls with representative Port and Land gates are around 500 years old. There are numerous palaces, villas and other monuments to explore. The town is also full of great restaurants packed in the centre and around the monuments.
WED
Zadar - Vodice - - Today we head back along the Dalmatian coast, stopping for a swim in one of the beautiful bays. After lunch we cruise to a popular and always lively resort of Vodice, where we spend the night. Here you can enjoy the beautiful terraces of local restaurants and cafes or simply walk along beautiful beaches of this typical Dalmatian town.
THU
Vodice - Trogir - We leave Vodice after breakfast with a swimming stop in one of the bays and after lunch we visit the old Dalmatian town of Trogir. Trogir was first settled by the Greeks and the old city, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a maze of narrow streets. The town is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice”, such is the quality of its architecture. Visit the Venetian Cathedral of St Lawrence and the medieval Kamerlengo Fortress or relax and watch the world go by from one of the sea front cafes
FRI
Trogir - Split - It’s back to the Split Riviera with a whole day of swimming ahead! We stop in one of the bays on Ciovo Island before leaving for Split where you have the option of joining our guided tour of Split with an English speaking guide. Split is another UNESCO World Heritage site and our final nights stop. Here we find an abundance of Roman architecture – of special interest is the Diocletian palace. There are also numerous museums and plenty of shopping opportunities for those last minute souvenirs.
SAT
